  1. 1. Defenestrate. It is very specific. It means to throw someone through a window. I love the English language and its ability to be specific. I'm going to defenestrate your ass!

    2. Bored. When you say you are bored, you are saying that you aren't intelligent enough to keep yourself occupied. When people say this to me, it drives me nuts that they think it is my job to entertain them...

    3. Hard work. The sound, sight, and experience of hard work makes me happy.

    4. Whining. Kids, or anyone, whining about anything is particularly annoying.

    5. Fuck. Fuckity fuck fuck. Fuck you! You fucking fuck!

    6. Skillfully played instrumental music. This relates to number three. People who have worked hard to become amazingly skilled at any or many instruments playing them well is a joy to behold.

    7. Nails on chalkboard. Chalkboards at a school would be a dealbreaker for me.

    8. Woodworking. I would love to make beautiful furniture. I love the smell of sawdust. I like the idea of having a solid, tangible, real product at the end. I love my job, but sometimes the lack of tangibility in success is hard to deal with.

    9. Cleaning Port-a-Potties.

    10. Nicely done.

  2. 1. Ratatouille: Although it's a narrow word when using it, I like the sound of it especially when it the "r" rolls out of one's mouth.

    2. Utilize: Some people think that by saying utilize they sound more sophisticated than using the word "use". I used to think this, and I'm pretty sure i was not the only one to think this as well.

    3. The final product of something whether that be a drawing I've been working on, or finishing a project for a certain class.

    4. When I hear a kid scream in a quite place at first does not bother me. But when I see that the parent does not do anything to stop it and the kid continues to scream/whine that's what bothers me. At that point I do not know who to be more mad at, the parent or the kid.

    5. Shit probably, especially in a particular emphasis and with a British accent. (SHE-III-T)

    6. Guitar, or a violin are probably the best sounding instruments in my opinion. Violin though seems more touching for me.

    7. There's a music genre called Harsh Noise, and it's all bad. Imagine a blender with a fuzzy radio, and a broken harmonica playing in the background; it's all bad. The definition of the genre explains it better than I can. "Harsh Noise is a term applied to Noise music that seeks to take the genre to its natural limits, resulting in hugely aggressive walls of sound that assault the listener."

    8. I always wanted to be a game designer, but another profession that seems more possible, and also on my mind is a sheriff's deputy.

    9. An animal renderer, they pretty much recycles dead animal waste and that's a no no for me.

    10. What took you so long.

  3. 1. Exquisite. It is a very fancy word and you know your expanding your vocabulary when you say it. Plus you can use it in almost any sentence!

    2. interesting. It seems like people say it when they cannot think of another adjective to use. I hear it way too much.

    3. Making progress. seeing progress in whatever you do, can be motivation to keep working to achieve your goals.

    4. People who give up. People who try once and call it quits are the weak-minded people. They are not goal-oriented, and just seem to exist in the world. Those people usually have no drive and are not the ones you want o surround yourself with.

    5. Fuck. I use it the most, and it can have multiple different meanings.

    6. The sound of popping bubble wrap is a very appealing sound. I do not know why, the sound just appeals to me.

    7. Anything screeching makes me want to vomit. Seriously, I just despise of anything that screeches. Tires, nails on chalk, etc.

    8. Play professional baseball

    9. I would hate to be a janitor. Cleaning up after people would make me feel dehumanized and janitors work long hours as well.

    10. Glad you could join us

    3. I think people who are able to be 100% themselves and have no regard for other people's scrutiny and judgment is so refreshing and incredibly admirable. They live for themselves, and although respecting other people will not live for them.
    4. Anybody who doesn't have the decency to treat people well and look outside of themselves to understand various ideologies and situations.
    5. Fuck that, I deficiency use it too often but I feel it lends emphasis to my emotions and how I’m feeling.
    6. I love the sound of flowing water in any form, whether it be a small stream or a huge waterfall I think water makes very unique sounds because of the way it flows and interacts with everything else.

  10. 1. Petrichor: it means the smell after rain on dry earth, which is one of my favorite scents and I love how specific the word is. I like the sound of the word and the imagery that it summons.
    2. Nice: it is such a bland word that broadly encompasses more specific traits like kindness, compassion, or generosity. To me it is just a word that someone uses when they cannot think of anything better, or they can hide in its ambiguity as to what they really mean.
    3. I feel most enlivened when I am listening to music and find that it often heightens my emotions with its passion, sincerity, or creativity. Between the rhythm, the story of the lyrics, and the instrumentation, I find great artistic and emotional value.
    4. I do not like when people project different personas depending on their audience for their personal gain. For example, a person might be rude and condescending to peers, but then seem innocent or use the "baby-voice" to gain the favor of parents or teachers.
    5. Damn: I like that this word delivers a statement of condemning something to hell while also expressing anger or frustration.
    6. The sound of a heavy downpour on a metal roof or glass window: The noise makes me feel protected yet very close to the chaos of the world outside.
    7. The screams and cries of a baby: The noise is so piercing, loud, stressful, and shrill that it is unbearable to be in the same room.
    8. I want to be a foreign service officer so that I can travel and live abroad and be able to use my passions for foreign languages, history, anthropology, and political science.
    9. Salesperson or solicitor: I would loathe having to talk to people to attempt to sell them products that are largely unnecessary and overpriced. They would despise me, and I would despise my job.

    5. What is your favorite curse word (no need to censor here)?
My favorite curse word would have to be cunt because it carries a negative connotation but it does not really illicite a enraged emotions from myself when I say it. It allows me to be made without being enraged or furious.

    9. What profession would you not like to do?
I would not want to be dentist. I don’t think I can stand staring at someone’s mouth every day and seeing how poorly people take care of their teeth. Don’t even get into bad breath.

It ticks all the boxes in what I want: helping a community in a meaningful way, computers (increasingly), books, talking to loads of people about what they’re passionate about, new challenges almost daily, and a jack-of-all-trades skillset acquired around motivated people.
    9. I wanted to be a lot of things when I was little, but one thing I could absolutely never do is be a surgeon. I have a stomach for surgery, but I haven’t got the confidence.
